Sajid Nadiadwala announces bonus for 400 employees to enable more donations to PM-CARES Fund

Sajid Nadiadwala, in an official statement, announced a bonus for over 400 employees of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment so that everyone can contribute to the PM-CARES Fund and the Maharashtra Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, much like several other celebrities, has made a significant contribution to the PM-CARES Fund and the Maharashtra Chief Minister's Relief Fund to fight against the novel coronavirus pandemic. Apart from this, the owner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE), has also announced a bonus for over 400 employees so that they can also donate to the PM-CARES Fund and the Maharashtra CM's Relief Fund.

The list also includes daily wage earners who are a part of Nadiadwala's production company.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh released Nadiadwala's official statement on Twitter.

"We wanted our family of over 400 employees, including those earning daily wages to also do their bit in these trying times. So we decided to empower them, to participate & donate to this noble, global cause. Hence we have announced a bonus for each of our employees, to strengthen their hands, so that they too can contribute... (sic)," a part of the statement reads.

"...It gives me immense pride to inform that each and every employee of NGE, working at various levels, has pledged to donate to the PM-CARES Fund and the Maharashtra Chief Minister's Relief Fund (sic)," the statement adds.

Sajid Nadiadwala listed out his contributions in seven points:

1: PM-CARES Fund

2: Chief Minister's Relief Fund COVID-19

3: Motion Pictures & TV Producers Welfare Trust

4: Shree Bhairav Seva Samiti

5: Film Industry Welfare Trust

6: Rs 10,000/- plus a bonus will be given to every daily wager associated with NGE

7: Over 400 employees will be receiving a bonus which will be donated by each one individually towards the CM and PM's Relief Funds respectively (sic).

The official Instagram account of the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment posted a story on the platform, as the employees thanked Sajid Nadiadwala for the bonus.

"Our #NGEFamily has pledged to contribute and aid our nation as we stand against this global pandemic. We are grateful to Sajid Nadiadwala for leading us and giving us this opportunity. Every contribution counts (sic)," the text on the Insta story reads.

Many employees of NGE have already started donating to the PM-CARES Fund and the Maharashtra Chief Minister's Relief Fund. The Insta handle has shared screenshots of their transactions.

Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and several other actors have donated to various coronavirus relief funds.
